Today, I went to my school library and picked up two newspapers with 'OBAMA LANDSLIDE In record numbers, nation elects 1st black president'. I gave one to my parents, and I'm keeping one for myself. I'm gonna frame it, and keep it for my whole life! So when I'm old and decrepit, I can tell my grandchildren (if I have any) that I was alive when they elected the first black president!
I finished my summer homework for that book, so now I can finish it totally at my leisure. It also leaves me open to being able to read my other summer homework book, Timeline. That book is shorter so I know that I will be able to finish it by Sept. 3rd. Which is a very good thing.
Had to babysit my baby cousins on Saturday. They are 2-year old twins with lots of energy. My gosh, I hope that when I have kids, I don't have twins, they were too much work. I also hope that I have enough money to be able to spend all day with them while my husband works. That will be awhile from now tho. Got 25$ out of it though.
Anyway, school in a week, gotta go buy new clothes, gotta get a new sketchbook, Mom hasn't got me a new one all summer. I still don't know my schedule for school. I took gym over the summer to clear up room so I could get into this one english class, but then there wasn't enough people so it got canceled. Lunch is gonna kill, I have no idea who is gonna be with me. Crap I gotta get my schoolbag out again.....this year isn't looking to great even now.
